President and Mrs. Trump Arrive for Halloween Celebration

In this photograph, taken by Matthew D'Agostino for the White House Historical Association on October 28, 2019, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump arrive for a Halloween celebration at the White House. During the event, the president and first lady gave candy to local schoolchildren and children from military families. The South Portico was festively decorated by the event with eerie trees and cascading rows of pumpkins, a design planned by the first lady and social secretary Anna Cristina "Rickie" Niceta Lloyd.
